Books for Brooklyn
 
On March 3rd 2013 at the Lafflines Comedy Club in New Westminster BC Canada artist Diane Moran a community came together to support a school in the Red Hook district of Brooklyn.
 
The event was a success and raised enough funds to not only ship additional books to the school but sponsored an indoor grow station along with funding a friendship garden including over 600 seeds for PS-15 Patrick Daly School in Brooklyn.
 

On April 22nd 2013 a free screening of Dirt The Movie was also a co-sponsored event coordinated by Diane.

Banners for Brooklyn
 
Over 50 hand-painted banners designed by students at Terry Fox Secondary and Westwood Elementary schools in Port Coquitlam BC Canada will find a new home in Brooklyn New York City. Supported by and funded through Diane was successful in sharing support through art.
